Range: $27.16 - $44.44 Pay Info: Eligible for new hire sign-on

- 12-hour work shifts
- 4 day-on / 4 day-off rotation
- Shift bids are completed twice a year
- Shifts may include: days, mid-days, nights, weekends, and
holidays.
- NO scheduled on-call time required!

the employee. Job Summary For over 60 years, Sanford Ambulance -
Fargo, has been providing world-class pre-hospital care to the
community that we love. Who is Sanford Ambulance? We are a 9-1-1
ambulance service that handles approximately 35,000 calls for
service annually in the Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo metro area,
as well as portions of Cass County, ND and Clay County, MN. Sanford
Ambulance deploys ambulances throughout the communities that we
serve, utilizing Computer Aided Dispatch software that incorporates
Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) data and GPS. This technology,
combined with Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) protocols insure
that the quickest available unit and appropriate resources are
dispatched to every emergency. In addition, we are:

of all, we have fun together. Paramedics are responsible for
responding to requests for emergency medical services and provide
both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) care,
as appropriate. Paramedics must demonstrate competency in
delivering excellent care to sick and injured patients
(adults/children/infants) and possess the knowledge and the
necessary skills to provide lifesaving interventions in a
pre-hospital setting, both on-scene as well as during transport to
a hospital Emergency Department (based on protocols or physician
medical direction). Physical activities include but are not limited
to: Considerable use of arms and legs and moving of whole body,
such as: climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and
handling materials. Qualifications High school diploma or
equivalent required. Must have a thorough knowledge of paramedic
principles, practices and techniques, knowledge of how various
equipment such as a monitor or defibrillator work and how to
troubleshoot problems that may arise. Active Paramedic
certification with NREMT by the time of hire. Requires current
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Requires
ability to be licensed as a Paramedic in both ND (ND Department of
Health) and MN (Minnesota office of EMS). This will be obtained
with company assistance upon acceptance of job offer. Must maintain
current driver's license and exceptional driving record for
purposes of insurability. Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check will be
completed annually. Previous Paramedic experience preferred.
