As a Radiation Therapist at Avera St Luke's Hospital, I deliver
prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to patients while
collaborating closely with Radiation Oncologists and other
healthcare professionals. I am responsible for patient assessment,
treatment setup, and documentation, ensuring effective
communication and coordination for optimal patient care. My role
includes making critical decisions related to treatment and
scheduling, contributing to a compassionate and mission-driven
healthcare environment.

A Brief Overview
Delivers daily prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to radiation
therapy patients under the guidance of the Radiation Oncologists
and Physicist and collaborates with other staff. This position is
responsible for the daily technical and scheduling process. Assists
the Radiation Oncologist in the initial set-up of a patient's
radiation therapy treatment.
