You will be a part of the Analytical Method Development and report to the Director, Analytical Development responsible for mRNA Analytics.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop LCMS analysis of proteins for biochemical applications utilizing a first in class laboratory setup. Contribute to design of experiment and generation of data to be included in technical reports following all appropriate good documentation practices.
• Develop solutions for simple and complex problems requiring a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. Broaden existing expanded knowledge in own field, to other areas relevant to team operations.
• Be an individual contributor with minimal supervision. Develop a plan, execute the data collection and interpret the data with minimal assistance.
• Work in a dynamic fast paced environment. Springboard from existing procedures to develop novel ways to solve client problems; analyze information and standard practices to make judgments.
• Engage in customer interactions, assist in training other scientists, and develop into leading a team of multiple people.The essential requirements of the job include:
  • BS degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 5+ years of experience OR MS degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience OR PhD degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 1+ years of experience.
  • Experience analyzing peptides and proteins by HPLCMS in both quantitative and qualitative characterization.
  • Additional protein and mRNA handling techniques are a plus.
  • Willingness to work with raw materials, mRNA and LNP therapeutics and an ability to multi-task and acquire new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related analytical method development and validation.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
    • Experience with , in vitro transcription/translation, RNA/mRNA analytics
    • Experience with molecular biology techniques such as RT-PCR Sanger sequencing, q/dPCR, CGE (PA800+/BioPhase8800+), ELISAJoin our winning team today.
