Job Description:
Description ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three
international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North
American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood
Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic
project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area
from flood waters from the Red River. We will provide value to our

The Survey Technician ensures all primary, secondary and layout
control data comply with engineering standards. Issues, edits and
maintains all field engineering books and records. Ensure all
inspections, sign-off, etc. are complete and comply with
procedures. Ensure construction work complies with design
drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct all Survey and Layout activities as directed
- Maintain a high level of expertise in GPS/Survey equipment,
software, and methodology
- Maintain, track, inventory, manage and coordinate use of GPS,
survey and machine control equipment
- Provides work control lines and elevations that are required
for accurate measurement and correct installation of onsite
activities
- Provides checking of as-built conditions that require the use
of surveying techniques
- Provides topographic and cross-section surveys as required for
planning and payment quantities
- Documents surveying activities
- Maintains surveying equipment
- Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, values, and
goals
- Performs additional assignments per supervisor's
directionExperience/Qualifications:
- Related work experience as a survey technician or survey
assistant preferred
- Associates degree or technical school diploma/certificate in a
related program a plus
- Valid Driver's License requiredPhysical Demands and Work
Environment - ALL CRAFT AND FIELD POSITIONS Work Environment:
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and
vibration.
- Noise levels in the work environment is usually loud.
- Ability to wear and work in personnel protective equipment
including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves,
ankle-supporting safety-toed work boots and a safety vest. Physical
Demands:
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals
with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Extensive moving or positioning heavy weighted materials (up to
50 lbs.).
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
- Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and ascend/descend to reach
materials or enter heavy equipment.
